Department. Detail of Vacancies :- Veterinary Assistant Surgeon :- 252 Vacancies Age Limit :- A candidate must be under 32 (thirty two) years and over 21 (twenty one) years of age on the1st day of January, 2013.The upper age limit is relaxable by five years for candidates belonging to the categories of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes,Socially and Educationally Backward Classes(S.E.B.C.), Women, Ex-service men and by10 (ten) years for Physically Handicapped candidates. Pay scale :- of Rs-9,300/-34,800/- carrying grade pay of Rs.4,600/- Educational Qualifications :- A candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Husbandry &Veterinary Science or its equivalent qualification from any recognized University in India or abroad and must have registered himself /herself under the Odisha Veterinary practitioners Act, 1970 Application Fee :- A candidate is required to pay a non-refundable and non-adjustable fee of Rs.300/-(Rupees three hundred) only.Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe of Odisha and Physically Handicapped [whose disability should not be less than 40%(forty percent)] are exempted from payment of this fee.
